Shift Path Support

Set up your rotation, resolve common issues, and understand your reports.

Shift Path creates repeating schedules for shift workers and helps reconcile worked hours with pay statements.

Getting started

  1. 1

Open Rotation and build the repeating sequence in the order it occurs.

  2. 2

Choose a known date that matches the first day of the first rotation block.

  3. 3

Optionally configure the pay schedule and regular shift length.

  4. 4

Tap any calendar date to record a change, note, special day, leave, overtime, or double time.

  5. 5

Tap a marked payday or use Summary to review hours.

  6. 6

Use Calendar Sync to copy shifts to Apple Calendar, or Export to create an Excel workbook.

Important

Reports are estimates based on user-entered information. Always compare them with the employer’s official schedule and pay statement.

Troubleshooting

Dates before the anchor look incorrect

Confirm the rotation contains every work and Off block, including the final Off block before the pattern repeats.

Paydays look incorrect

Confirm the known pay-period start, frequency, payday weekday, and payment delay.

Hours look incorrect

Confirm Regular shift hours and inspect changes on each date in the report period.

Why don’t synced shifts appear in Apple Calendar?

Allow full Calendar access, select the destination calendar in Shift Path, tap Sync Now, and make sure that calendar is visible in Apple Calendar.

Do Apple Calendar changes return to Shift Path?

No. Calendar Sync is intentionally one way: Shift Path updates its own calendar events, but edits made in Apple Calendar do not change your Shift Path schedule.
